The Beta chapter of Chi Tau Epsilon at Texas Tech University contributes to their community of Lubbock and their community at Texas tech. We partner with different organizations around Lubbock to participate in helping their event go smoothly. Some examples are the Ballet Lubbock gala, the Presbyterian church pumpkin patch and the hope community closet. Then in the spring we host an annual Benefit Concert to raise money for Hospice of Lubbock. At this event we invite local dance teams and studios to showcase what they have been working on that year, and have a silent auction. We serve our school by maintaining our studio spaces and keep it stocked with first aid items. We also often times work the High dance day events and Audition days at school.
